If someone asks me if I want a cupcake, the answer is always, naturally, “YES.” What a stupid question.
If someone were to ask me if I wanted a cupcake with ice cream sandwiched inside, I’d say, “YES, who cares that I’m lactose intolerant, FEED ME NOW!”
Thankfully, my fellow L.A. residents can join me in enjoying a scoop of ice cream sandwiched between two cupcake tops at the new ice cream parlor owned by Sprinkles, the Patron Saint of Cupcake Gluttons.
Sprinkles Ice Cream, which opens in ONE HOUR (May 24 at 10:00 AM) is located in Beverly Hills right next to the flagship cupcake Mecca and their famous cupcake ATM. They will feature the following flavors:
chocolate sorbet (dairy free)
coffee almond fudge
malted milk chocolate
strawberry sorbet (dairy free)
And their fancy interior looks like the set of J.J. Abrams’ next Star Trek film:
To all my non-L.A. readers: this is further proof that Los Angeles sometimes does not suck.
