Hilarious. Happy Friday, Tumblrverse!
But seriously… I want to party.

This pretty much sums up how I feel about the holiday, even now that I’m no longer single. Happy Valentine’s Day (or as I like to call it, Thursday) to all my followers - you already know I love you.

Here’s a quote to make you think.
Also, I’d have to say that, from my perspective, it’s quite true.

I have the best friends in the world.
This was sent to me by the hilarious Adrianne, in response to this.
My good friend Courtney Kocak, who worked with me in a television show’s writing office for a season, is using her free time during the show’s hiatus to embark on a Morgan Spurlock -esque mission for the site XO Jane: for 99 days, she will shop only at the 99¢ store.
Is she insane? Oh yes. But poverty has a way of bringing out the desperation in people, an experience I personally know all too well. So, while the idea may sound extreme, I would argue that it’s actually kind of brilliant. She’ll conceivably save a great deal of money and learn how to creatively provide for herself.
In the very least, the experience will reveal to Courtney the difference between the essentials of living and things that are merely “wants,” which is a valuable truth I think we all need to learn repeatedly over the course of our spoiled First World lives.
Follow Courtney’s progress over on her Tumblr site! She’s hilarious, snarky, and refreshingly honest, so this ought to be an entertaining journey indeed.
This gif just makes me really freaking happy. If only we got winter in Los Angeles! I’m still going crazy with those Starbucks peppermint mochas, though, even if the coldest it’s been is 60 degrees.

I just really want to know who over at the Hobbit marketing team thought that partnering with Denny’s to create special movie-themed menu items thought that they had the best idea ever.
Curious about what the menu entails? I was, too. You can check it out here.
One of my friends aptly pointed out that the “unexpected journey” aspect of this fine meal might be the one you take from your table to the bathroom.
IT’S MAH BIRTHUMDAY!!!!!
Today’s plans:
- Get a massage.
- Work on mah book.
- Enjoy dinner out with friends.
- Get drunk.
- Most importantly: OPEN PRESENTS.
I’m taking a day off from blogging to do all of the above. Because I’m 25 freaking years old today and I deserve it.
